Central Business District Multi-family
The Central Business District in New Orleans is home to many noticeable buildings and unique structures. This building is a unique combination of curves and a trapezoidal form because of its location at the intersection of three streets. The vision includes adapting the existing two-story structure, with an addition of residential floors and a rooftop deck.
French Quarter Historical Restoration
A Historical Preservation project located in New Orlean's French Quarter, this project required a lot of site documentation and coordination with the Vieux Carré Commission to create a series of repairs. All repairs are slated to commence with full access to the restaurants located on the ground floor and allow tenants access to their apartments above.
Marigny Multi-Family
Once a Catholic school, the newly named Marie Couvant House will serve as a mixed-use multi-family structure. It’s historic nature shall be retained with commercial space on the ground floor and apartments above.
Iberville Condos
An abandoned Historic French Quarter warehouse, this project was brought to studio^RISE to have life brought back to it. The design includes a small commercial cafe on the ground floor and apartments in the rear and upper floors.
Parleaux Beer Lab Expansion
A neighborhood staple for its lush and spacious outdoor beer garden, the owners of this micro-brewery desired to increase indoor seating to overcome the daunting New Orleans summers.
Dignified Home
studio^RISE's first design competition was a look into New Orleans by combining a residence with a small scale local business. The premise was to provide community inclusion by introducing a gathering space, a usable amenity and creating a homestead for a much needed and impacted neighborhood.
