A renovated single family home in Algiers was transformed into one of the hottest new restaurants in the city. Saint Claire is an intimate close knit culinary experience that sits on a 4 acre lot in the shade of multiple live oaks. The project was worked on at an expedited pace.
Roots Remedy - Jackson Dispensary
With their extensive background in the marijuana space, our clients moved quickly to be a part of Mississippi’s medical marijuana program. Having purchased a mid-century modern former retail building, the structure already had a strong exterior presence while providing a blank slate on the interior.
Central Business District Multi-family
The Central Business District in New Orleans is home to many noticeable buildings and unique structures. This building is a unique combination of curves and a trapezoidal form because of its location at the intersection of three streets. The vision includes adapting the existing two-story structure, with an addition of residential floors and a rooftop deck.
French Quarter Historical Restoration
A Historical Preservation project located in New Orlean's French Quarter, this project required a lot of site documentation and coordination with the Vieux Carré Commission to create a series of repairs. All repairs are slated to commence with full access to the restaurants located on the ground floor and allow tenants access to their apartments above.
Le Ponce French Cafe and Bakery
The Cafe Degas ownership team turned this small space into mighty coffee and French Pasty Shop on Esplanade Ridge. It invokes the history of the space while creating a French Casual experience.
Willow Pharmacy - Hammond
With a growing service area, the Willow Team wanted to create a new flagship medical marijuana pharmacy. Their request was for a pharmacy that felt less like a sterile, medical facility and more communal and approachable. The space welcomes all patients looking to fill their prescriptions as well as anyone looking to learn more
Press Street Gardens Shade Structure
Press Street Gardens approached us wanting an economical and multi-purpose shade structure that could double as a serving structure for events and for everyday garden prep. studio^RISE worked in conjunction with Press Street Gardens, the NOCCA Foundation, Youth Rebuilding New Orleans and Urbanscapes NOLA to see this project to completion.
Mammoth Coffee Co.
Mammoth Espresso has established itself as a premiere boutique coffeeshop in New Orleans. This success has led to the birth of Mammoth Coffee Company and is requiring them to create a space for their own roasting within the same building as the coffeeshop. The roasting facility will be a visual feature to patrons, connecting every cup to the raw product and process.
Marigny Multi-Family
Once a Catholic school, the newly named Marie Couvant House will serve as a mixed-use multi-family structure. It’s historic nature shall be retained with commercial space on the ground floor and apartments above.
Iberville Condos
An abandoned Historic French Quarter warehouse, this project was brought to studio^RISE to have life brought back to it. The design includes a small commercial cafe on the ground floor and apartments in the rear and upper floors.
Parleaux Beer Lab Expansion
A neighborhood staple for its lush and spacious outdoor beer garden, the owners of this micro-brewery desired to increase indoor seating to overcome the daunting New Orleans summers.
Dignified Home
studio^RISE's first design competition was a look into New Orleans by combining a residence with a small scale local business. The premise was to provide community inclusion by introducing a gathering space, a usable amenity and creating a homestead for a much needed and impacted neighborhood.
