The client came to studio^RISE with a complex design issue: how to add approximately 450sf to their existing mixed-use property on an already tight site. The desire was to maximize contiguous open space while allowing an addition. The outcome was an award winning designed home office.
Hope Family Housing
Originally conceived during EDR+’s Day of Service program, this project explores ways to maximize livable square footage within the dense urban fabric of New Orleans. Designed in response to the city’s newly defined zoning category for Small Multi-Family Affordable Units, the development consists of two ground-up new construction homes.

With a growing service area, the Willow Team wanted to create a new flagship medical marijuana pharmacy. Their request was for a pharmacy that felt less like a sterile, medical facility and more communal and approachable. The space welcomes all patients looking to fill their prescriptions as well as anyone looking to learn more
Press Street Gardens Shade Structure
Press Street Gardens approached us wanting an economical and multi-purpose shade structure that could double as a serving structure for events and for everyday garden prep. studio^RISE worked in conjunction with Press Street Gardens, the NOCCA Foundation, Youth Rebuilding New Orleans and Urbanscapes NOLA to see this project to completion.

Community Masterplan
New Orleans, like many cities, is in desperate need of more housing. This Community Master Plan, comprised of structures that are formed from shipping containers with site built elements, allowed our team to study efficient housing solutions. the focus was on creating on standalone homes that are structured around shared spaces and community amenities.
