Tulane University approached studio^RISE to be the architect of record for the Green Wave Indoor Practice Facility. After a comprehensive site analysis across the Uptown campus, the Claiborne parking lot was chosen as the most suitable for the facility. studio^RISE worked hand in hand with an international fabricator and supplier, Arizon, to create an efficient design that worked with their inflatable building system to create the new indoor practice facility. The structure can be deflated and reinflated for inclement weather or other outside necessary factor. The facility features multiple airlock entry systems and houses a 65 yard turf football field with endzone, goalposts, 8K cameras, score board, time clocks and integrated lighting fixtures.
